VP, Information Security & Compliance

Salary: $200,000 - 250,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security, cloud architecture, and compliance within a global, publicly traded cloud/SaaS technology company
• Hands-on experience leading a cloud solution through the FedRAMP authorization lifecycle (PMO/JAB or Agency route) and continuous monitoring in AWS and/or Azure environments
• Strong capability across both commercial enterprise SaaS security and public sector regulatory frameworks, including NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, CJIS, and FISMA
• Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to explain security topics to engineers, enterprise buyers, auditors, and Board members
• Proven success negotiating security exhibits, data processing agreements (DPAs), and risk terms with enterprise clients and vendors
• Preferred: Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or an MBA
• Preferred: Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or CCSP
• Preferred: Active or clearable U.S. Government Security Clearance, with DoD Secret or Top Secret preferred
• Preferred: Knowledge of security, privacy, and governance frameworks for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning workloads

• Shape and deliver a multi-year, enterprise-wide information security and compliance strategy aligned with commercial growth and public sector expansion
• Act as the main security advisor to our Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, and broader organization, translating complex risks into practical business language
• Build, coach, and lead a high-performing global security and compliance team across security operations, engineering, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Promote a security-first culture through ongoing training, awareness initiatives, and cross-functional partnership
• Lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous monitoring needed to achieve and sustain FedRAMP, StateRAMP, DoD/CMMC, and CJIS authorizations in cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
• Oversee compliance and auditing for SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and global privacy requirements including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Partner with legal, finance, and internal audit teams to maintain strong IT general controls for SOX compliance and to support SEC cybersecurity disclosure obligations
• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to embed security controls into multi-tenant SaaS platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments
• Direct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, intrusion detection, and threat intelligence activities to address emerging threats proactively
• Lead breach investigations, incident response procedures, and tabletop exercises to ensure rapid containment, notification, and remediation
• Establish and enforce third-party risk management programs to assess and secure vendor ecosystems, software supply chains, and external partners
• Lead security and compliance due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and guide post-acquisition integration planning
• Create policies and operating frameworks for Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, loss prevention, and fraud prevention

We are looking for a VP, Information Security & Compliance to serve as our Chief Information Security Officer and executive champion for global enterprise security and compliance programs. Reporting to our Chief Legal Officer, this role will drive a company-wide security strategy that protects customer data, intellectual property, and infrastructure across our business units, including commercial SaaS and high-stringency public sector environments.
