Accounts Receivable Clerk

Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: Baltimore, MD 21237 Duration: 4 Months (Temp to hire) The hours for this position may vary between the following start times: 8am, 8:30am and 9am with a 30‑minute lunch break. This position is onsite only. Position Overview Responsible for posting customer payments in a timely and accurate manner, researching and reconciling account discrepancies, scanning payments into the bank, and keeping accurate notes of all communication related to accounts within the Sapphire system. The AR Representative works closely with retailers, sales, warehouse, drivers, customer service, National Call Center and others to collect outstanding balances owed and resolve discrepancies. General Accountabilities Post customer payments accurately and timely Notify customers and sales of delivery term changes as needed Distribute monthly statements and email specific accounts Work independently without supervision while collaborating with others as a team Maintain good working relationships Ensure customer service is held to the highest standard and customer accounts are reconciled and kept up to date with attention to detail and accuracy Escalate situations to the AR manager as needed Handle a large volume of customer/driver calls accurately and effectively Problem solve under pressure with tight deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Galaxy Systems
