Job#: 3038362 Job Description: Network Engineer Location: Foster City, CA (Onsite) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to help ensure the security of customers, staff, systems, communications, and data. This role will support the implementation, maintenance, and upkeep of network security systems, including firewalls, URL filtering, IDS/IPS, network access control, and remote access VPN. The position will be a key contributor to architecture, design, and implementation as we mature network security programs, processes, and practices. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering and administration for Next Generation Firewall/UTM devices. Manage and engineer AWS Network Security. Oversee Network Access Control (802.1X). Administer and engineer Remote Access VPN systems. Collaborate with Information Security, IT, Product, and Operations teams. Utilize experience with change management and focus on customer experience. Required Qualifications Experience 6+ years of Network Security Engineer experience supporting production environments. 6+ years of IT systems/application engineering/administration experience. 6+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS network security services. Technical Skills Practical knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificates. Strong understanding of the OSI model, all layers. Strong understanding of Layer‑7 protection techniques as they relate to network security. Strong understanding of AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, NACLs, AWS Transit Gateway, and VPC architectures. Benefits Overview Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans.
