Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Pool

This is a 26-week contract position.

Nights, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience to join our Critical Care Float Pool. The ideal candidate should be proficient in clinical skills required in various critical care units, including MICU, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, and CVICU.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Float to all critical care units as needed based on patient census and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including management of dysrhythmias.
• Assist with advanced procedures, including vent management and sedation administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Certification in BCLS and ACLS required; TNCC preferred.
• Ability to effectively float within various critical care units.
• Strong experience in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; assessment will occur.
• Academic or teaching facility experience is required.
