Position Summary


The Caregiver Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules, maintaining adequate staffing levels, and ensuring clients receive quality care services. This position serves as a liaison between caregivers, clients, and management while managing scheduling needs, resolving staffing issues, and supporting daily operations.


Key Responsibilities

Scheduling: Create and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure client coverage.


Staffing Coordination: Fill open shifts and address scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.


Caregiver Communication: Communicate schedule changes, assignments, and updates to caregivers.


Client Support: Coordinate services to ensure client care needs are met.


Record Management: Maintain accurate scheduling records and staffing documentation.


Attendance Tracking: Monitor caregiver attendance, call-offs, and availability.


Compliance: Ensure staffing assignments meet company policies and care requirements.


Administrative Support: Assist with general office and staffing-related tasks as needed.


Requirements

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.


Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Organization: Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously.


Problem Solving: Ability to quickly resolve staffing and scheduling challenges.


Customer Service: Professional and courteous interaction with clients and caregivers.


Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy when managing schedules and records.


Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Experience: One (1) year of scheduling, staffing coordination, healthcare administration, or related experience preferred.
