Bilingual Finance Manager

Location: Houston, TX (on-site, local candidates preferred)

Compensation: $80,000–$120,000 base + annual performance-based bonus

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing U.S. branch of an international manufacturing/industrial company. This role is critical to building financial structure and process as the U.S. operation scales, while serving as a key communication bridge between the U.S. team and our parent company/HQ in China. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Mandarin and English and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-cultural business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for U.S. leadership and HQ finance teams
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
• Serve as a liaison between U.S. operations and parent company/HQ finance team in China, communicating financial performance, questions, and reporting needs
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and HR on financial matters affecting the business
• Help build and formalize financial processes and structure to support company growth
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior experience as a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Controller, or Senior Accountant
• Fluent or professionally proficient in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken required)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, budgeting, and internal controls
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, and cash flow management
• Comfortable working in a growing or evolving organizational environment
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and process-driven
• CPA a plus, not required

Preferred Background

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, equipment, automotive, or industrial sectors
• Experience working for a Chinese-owned or other international company
• Experience supporting or building out finance functions for a U.S. branch of a global parent company
