Catering Operation Lead - Toyota Center

The Catering Operations Lead oversees the execution of catering events from Banquet Event Order (BEO) through completion. This hourly role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and event days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute catering events according to BEOs.
• Schedule and direct event staff.
• Prepare menus and event materials.
• Communicate event details and expectations to staff.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure service standards, documentation, and operational procedures are followed.
• Monitor event operations and adjust staffing as needed.
• Partner with the Catering Sales Manager and other departments to ensure successful events.

Qualifications

• Catering, hospitality, or event operations experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret BEOs and manage event logistics.
• Detail-oriented with experience handling event documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event-related systems.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
