Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pulse Welder who will be responsible for welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The role involves working with structural parts, mostly weighing over 50-100 pounds. The position requires a versatile welder who can perform a variety of tasks and adapt to different welding positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pulse welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Work with structural parts, mostly over 50-100 pounds.
• Execute one-off welding tasks with limited production runs.
• Run multiple passes as needed and perform layouts based on skill level.
• Operate without jigs or fixtures and adapt to various welding positions including vertical, horizontal, and angled.
• Utilize overhead cranes to aid in welding processes.
• Perform grinding and some fabrication work, such as operating a shear.
• Be flexible to wear multiple hats and adapt to daily needs.

Work Environment

The work environment is a well-established steel fabrication shop comprised of three buildings. It maintains a traditional blue-collar atmosphere without air conditioning, ensuring an authentic fabrication experience. The facility is equipped with Miller and Lincoln welders, and overhead cranes are available to assist with various tasks. Expect a bit of dirt typical of a fabrication shop setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of BECKER, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
