Custodian - 2nd Shift

Custodian – 2nd ShiftSalary: $15.19 per hour. Full‑time position working 5:00p.m. to 1:30a.m. with a half‑hour lunch break. Responsibilities Perform custodial duties, including cleaning restrooms, lounges, offices, classrooms, and corridors according to standard operating procedures. Use authorized cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain a clean and professional interior environment. Adhere to safety policies, secure and lock assigned areas, and assist with event set‑up and tear‑down. Maintain assigned equipment, report repairs, and help clean spills. Change light bulbs throughout campus as needed and report required repairs. Observe and report maintenance needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Shift schedule: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., and 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (30‑minute lunch break each shift). May work various hours, including occasional weekend coverage. Exposure to cold and hot conditions; must use all personal protective equipment (PPE). Essential staff: required to report to work if the university closes. Equipment / Materials Used Custodial cleaning equipment and chemicals. Office machines, lifts, and motor vehicles. Typical Physical Demands Walk, stand, bend, and/or reach; climb a ladder; clear snow and ice when needed. Lift up to 50 pounds. Operate standard custodial equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
