This position opportunity is set to work a full-time, day shift schedule at our main campus Downtown. This position is expected to participate in team weekend and holiday coverage rotations.This is a full-time opportunity working in an adult acute care setting. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an acute care setting.Speech Language Pathologist, Wolfson's Rehab, Job Responsibilities:Evaluates and treats patients of all diagnoses.Provides extensive patient/family education.Participates in multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nursing, physicians, dietitians, social services, respiratory, support staff, etc.Works in a fast-paced setting requiring good time management, detailed documentation skills in the EMR, self-directed, and effective communication skills.Experience Requirements:1 or more years Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferredExperience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies strongly PreferredEducation & Credential Requirements:Master of Science Or Master of Arts RequiredLicensed Speech Language Pathologist RequiredASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association RequiredBaptist Jacksonville is a Magnet designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care.
