Job Details Compensation: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE Job Site Location: Skokomish, WA Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Benefits: Weekly Pay Direct deposit & debit card payment options Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance Washington paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state law Eligibility requirements and waiting periods may apply Other Compensation:No additional compensation specified for this assignment Why You'll Love This Job Build valuable experience in medical billing, healthcare claims, and revenue cycle support Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule with weekends off Make a direct impact by helping maintain accurate billing and timely reimbursement Gain the opportunity to transition into a long-term position through this temp-to-hire role Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, submit, and track accurate medical claims to government and commercial insurance payers Review patient accounts, billing documentation, and claim information for accuracy and completeness Post payments, adjustments, EOBs, and electronic remittance information while maintaining accurate account balances Investigate denied, rejected, or unpaid claims and take timely action to correct and resubmit claims Follow up with insurance carriers and other payers to resolve outstanding accounts and reimbursement issues Apply working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, medical billing procedures, and payer requirements to support clean claims Maintain accurate billing records and protect confidential patient and financial information Communicate professionally with providers, internal staff, patients, and insurance representatives to resolve billing questions Qualifications & Requirements Required:High school diploma or equivalent Previous medical billing, healthcare billing, or revenue cycle experience Working knowledge of medical claims, insurance billing, EOBs/ERAs, denials, and payer follow-up Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, electronic claims, and medical billing systems Strong computer, data entry, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to handle protected health information and confidential records appropriately Preferred:2years of recent medical billing or accounts receivable experience in a healthcare environment Experience billing Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance plans Experience working in tribal health, community health, or another patient-centered healthcare setting Medical billing or coding certification, such as CPB, CPC, or a comparable credential About our Client's Company Our client is a community-centered tribal government organization that provides essential services, including healthcare, to the people and communities it serves.The organization values service, respect, cultural connection, and responsible stewardship.Team members work in a mission-driven environment where dependable administrative support and accurate healthcare operations contribute directly to community well-being.
