Position: Farm Worker Requirements: 1 month work experience, able to lift up to 35lbs, willing and able to be exposed to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over and repetitive movements. Anticipated hours of work per week: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and 5 hrs on Saturday. Job Description: Winter prune, thin blossoms, harvest peaches, pears, and apples by hand at correct ripeness. Must be able to climb up and down a ladder with a 35 lb. pack on the back. Must be able to operate and drive a tractor or forklift to load and unload fruit bins. Will also perform orchard cleanup. Must be able to pick 10 bushel bags of fruit per hour for job retention. One (1) month of experience as a fruit harvester is required. The employer will provide no training and allow zero days for the worker to reach the production standards.
