HR Business Partner

Position Overview Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, is seeking a HR Business Partner in our Irving, Texas location. Team You’ll join a dynamic HR team that works closely with business leaders and operations to strengthen our workplace culture and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Partner with employees at all levels to grow their knowledge and application of Principle Based Management Support the recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers and leverage recruiting capabilities to attract top talent Ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and training programs Collaborate with leadership to assess workforce needs and develop plans to meet organizational goals, including workforce and succession planning Implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent Partner with segment and functional leaders to align compensation decisions with individual contributions; advise leaders on compensation philosophy and total rewards strategy Partner closely with the P&L‑owning General Manager and leadership team to translate segment and business unit vision into a clear people agenda, organizational priorities, and execution expectations across regions and sites Serve as the central HR integrator for the segment, ensuring local consistency in leadership Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HR experience, including direct HR business partnership with senior business leaders Experience supporting a global, matrixed organization with multiple functions, regions and leadership stakeholders Strong business acumen and ability to connect people decisions to business performance Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior leaders and drive aligned actions across a complex organization Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing and engineering focused businesses Experience operating in a hyper‑growth or transforming business environment Advanced degree in human resources, business or related field Benefits Our goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
