Job Details Requisition Number: 28310 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Anticipated Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain Level of Experience: Entry Level HII Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Technician 2 in their Syracuse, NY Manufacturing Operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub‑assemblies, support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and help build long‑term capability within the Manufacturing Organization. Essential Job Responsibilities Mechanical assembly and installation of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub‑assemblies Collaborate with team members in assembly and integration of new and existing products Deliver work according to quality requirements and work instructions Adhere to processes and procedures to meet business and program objectives Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvements Efficiently operate hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, wire cutters, wire strippers, and crimpers Identify and resolve tasks independently Follow ESD principles and safeguarding practices Be able to lift 40 pounds Minimum Qualifications Technician 2 – High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years related experience. Technician 1 – High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related experience; or Associates Degree or other 2‑year technical degree in a related discipline and 0 years experience. Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, part lists, connection diagrams, schematics, and engineering sketches. Ability to work with standardized procedures for high repeatability in an advanced and connected environment. Ability to obtain IPC‑610, IPC‑620, and IPC‑J‑STD‑001 certification. Self‑motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction. Ability to work both in a team and individually. Must be familiar with hand tools such as torque wrenches, wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, and soldering. Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a DoD government clearance.
