As a Physical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case managers. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and tools, allowing you to utilize advanced treatment methodologies and deliver high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of patient care tasks, including:Directing tailored physical therapy treatments to alleviate pain, prevent disability, and restore function.Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including muscle strength, joint function, and mobility levels, to create effective treatment plans.Overseeing and providing mentorship to Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with care plans and delivery of quality therapy services.Administering therapeutic exercises and instructing patients on techniques to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.Evaluating home environments as pertinent to rehabilitation, offering recommendations to enhance patient independence.Maintaining detailed clinical records such as evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to document patient progress and inform care strategies.Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment efficacy and adjust care plans as needed.Communicating effectively with patients and their families to educate them about their therapy programs and addressing any concerns.Staying abreast of industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and high standards of patient care.Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will primarily focus on adults recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, or chronic conditions. This population may include individuals rehabilitating from orthopedic surgeries, stroke recovery, or those managing conditions like arthritis.
