Registered Nurse (RN) - TelemetryThis position is auto-offer.Shift DetailsShift: Nights, 1900-0700 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Weekend Hours: As required by the facility Call Requirements: NoneQualificationsRequired Licensure: Current RN License eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only 4 trauma credits or completion within the first two weeks of starting NIHSS (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start) Preferred Certifications: ACLS from AHA only Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year in telemetry Float Requirements: Must float on a rotational basisUnit InformationNumber of Beds: 32 Patient Ratios: Days 1:5-1:6, Nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees) Equipment: Alaris pumps, telemetry, lift equipment EMR: EPICResponsibilitiesUtilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort and outcomes. Responsible for: Evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers Coordinating patient care with interdisciplinary teams Upholding patient rights and maintaining confidentiality of patient information Conducting duties in a manner consistent with the organization's mission, values, and service standardsWorking ConditionsMust be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift and meet unit-specific physical demands, which may include significant bending, stooping, and lifting. Exposure to blood and body fluids is significant.
