Actuarial Associate Role
Pricing and risk partner to the business. Closer to a pricing and business-partner role than a pure reserving cycle position, because the scope includes rate setting and value-based contract decisions alongside IBNR.
Actuarial Associate role for a Health insurer, based remotely in North Carolina. You'll support pricing and rate-setting, IBNR reserving, risk assessment, PMPM analysis, and value-based contract evaluation using SQL and Excel, while presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders. The role requires at least three years of actuarial experience and two SOA exams.
Requirements:
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Business or related field
- At least 3 years of actuarial experience
- At least 2 SOA exams passed
- Must reside in North Carolina
Strongly preferred:
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Financial Close Processes
- Experience supporting Health Plan
