If that sounds like you, the Senior Consumer Loan Officer role might be your perfect match. This is a full-time, in-office 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (with rotating Saturdays) position and a great opportunity to make an impact at a well-respected, community-focused credit union in San Diego County. Underwrite and evaluate consumer loan applications across auto, personal, and credit card products Analyze credit reports, income, and ability to repay while identifying risks and opportunities Provide guidance and second-level review support to branches and internal teams Make lending decisions within authority, including exceptions with clear rationale Support loan production goals while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations Here is what we are seeking: High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required Minimum of 5 years of consumer lending and underwriting experience Strong knowledge of credit analysis, lending practices, and financial regulations Skills That’ll Make You a Great Fit: Strong analytical thinking and sound decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to interpret complex financial and credit data High level of integrity and professionalism Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment What we offer: Great team!
