Responsibilities
- Provide coordinated intraoperative nursing care for a patient or assigned group during surgical procedures, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of varying levels of OR nursing staff; coordinate care with the surgical team and other disciplines; apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Support OR services including intraoperative patient care, ensuring sterile technique, patient positioning, instrument counts, and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with perfusion, inpatient and/or outpatient teams as applicable; maintain patient safety, comfort, and readiness before, during, and after procedures.
- Adhere to department policies and regulatory requirements; participate in OR turnover, equipment readiness, and infection control practices.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility as permitted by the hiring authority)
- Operating Room/perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment; strong communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced OR setting
