Deputy Project Leader - Telecomm

Piper Companies is looking for a Deputy Project Leader to join a design-build and systems integration firm based out ofNorthern Virginia. This role requires the candidate to report onsite. Essential Duties of the Deputy Project Leader : Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews Forecasting cash flow and manpower needs for projects Assuring a timely completion of a project including the completion of punch-list items, the submittal of accurate as-built drawings, operation, and maintenance manuals Qualifications of the Deputy Project Leader : Minimum 4+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules Extensive experience leading diverse teams & projects with construction budgets valued between $500K - $10M+ in Telecommunication Scopes Minimum 2+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems is preffered Compensation for the Deputy Project Leader : $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience) Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 8/11/26.
