RN - ICU

This is a 20-week contract position starting on September 14, 2026. Schedule 3x12-Hour Night Shift from 19:00 to 07:30, with every third weekend required. Job Description The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity environment. Nurses in this role must be proficient in managing a variety of critical patient conditions and engaging in advanced medical interventions. Responsibilities Administer medications and perform advanced nursing procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition. Provide care for patients with complex medical needs, including ventilated patients, CRRT, and post-surgical cases. Utilize specialized equipment such as central lines and chest tubes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have an active RN license in Maryland or a compact state. Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
