Mobile Tester

Mid-Level QA TesterLooking for mid-level QA testers who have the ability to collaborate with the development and QA teams on planning, monitoring, control and execution of testing-related activities. In this role you will assist with QA activities ensure that quality processes are maintained throughout projects. You must also have the ability to review requirements specifications and technical design documents. Candidates who apply need to have native mobile app testing experience.This role is contract to hire and requires you to work in the office at least one day a week (hybrid model).Other job responsibilities:Develop, maintain and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and scriptsExecute and analyze automation test scriptsExecute and record test runs, log and track bugs, enhancements and usability related issuesCoordinate with developers, fellow QA analysts, and other project resources to discuss issues identified during testing; assign issues for resolution, if applicable; ensure resolution prior to project completionCommunicate with support teams to notify them of upcoming project related releases; document potential workarounds or issues discovered throughout the testing processCommunicate and participate in project-related meetings with internal business partners, team members, and vendors to identify and communicate end-user needsQualifications:Minimum 3+ years in quality assurance required or equivalent combination of education and experienceNative mobile app testing experienceMinimum of 3 years in manual testing, some automation is preferredExperience in project management practices/software preferredTest automation tool experience preferredExperience testing mobile and web application testingMust have functional RestAPI experience (testing APIs) – PostmanSome level of SQL experienceJmeter experiencePerformance testing experienceRequired skills: Native mobile app testing experience and familiar with native mobile app test automation. Basic SQL experience. Basic understanding of API Charles Proxy. Solid understanding of general QA processes, procedures and standards. 10/10 communication skills.
