Quick Facts: Location: Richmond, VA Start Date: 07/13/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing weekly assignment; coverage dates include 07/13-07/17, 07/20-07/24, 07/27-07/31, 08/03-08/07, 08/10-08/14, 08/17-08/21, 08/24-08/25 Shift: M-F, flexible hours, inpatient primarily, some outpatient coverage Hours/Week: 40+ hours estimated Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: MD or DO, Virginia license preferred, Board Certified or BE in Hematology-Oncology, DEA, BLS Experience: Minimum 2+ years in hematology/oncology practice Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $19,500.00 Benefits include: Competitive pay package (discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care in a hospital-based setting Oversee a nurse practitioner and coordinate patient management Enroll eligible patients in clinical research studies Manage call coverage on scheduled days Document care using EPIC EMR Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care Support patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions What You Need: MD or DO degree with valid Virginia medical license (preferred) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology-Oncology Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in hematology/oncology Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organizational skills About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Richmond, VA, known for comprehensive cancer care.
