Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Anchorage, AK

Shift Information

• Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Schedule: 4 days, 10 hour shifts with a rotating schedule including weekends

Unit Information

Join a dynamic team in the Rehabilitation Services unit, an inpatient acute care facility with a total of 175 beds and 60 therapy providers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions for patients in an acute care setting.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EMR system (EPIC).
• Participate in patient assessments and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist certification is required.
• Acute care experience is essential.

Work Environment

• Day Shift: Approximately 1 charge nurse, 3 registered nurses, 2 certified nursing assistants, and 1-3 sitters per shift.
• Patient Ratios: 8-10 patients per therapist daily.
• Weekend Requirements: Expect to work 2-3 weekends per month.
