Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations in Carrollton, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to document observations and assist visitors and employees. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and entry and exit procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements; report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and maintain professional interactions while representing Allied Universal. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
