Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We need the candidate to be located within approximately 45 minutes of the designated data center location in the Atlanta, GA area.

• We operate and apply data center processes and procedures using ITIL standards for incident, problem, and change management.
• We serve as the primary technical contact for Data Center Services and Facilities teams, acting as a technical lead and local escalation point during emergencies and daily operations.
• We identify operational trends, assess risks, and communicate possible impacts to data center operations.
• We track operational metrics and related data to give senior leadership current visibility and long-term trend analysis.
• We develop and implement strategies to future-proof data center environments for scalability, resiliency, and adaptability to new technologies and evolving business needs.
• We recommend, build, establish, and execute policies and processes that align with corporate expectations and govern environmental conditions within data center facilities.
• We coordinate with IT Infrastructure teams to fulfill requests, complete changes, and respond to incidents.
• We work with different departments to improve, manage, update, and administer DCIM tools.
• We create and review departmental operating procedures, assess and document process improvements, and deliver awareness training to team members.
• We lead data center projects and coordinate initiatives across departments and locations.
• We configure devices for initial installation and remove devices during decommissioning, including installing baselines, assigning IP addresses, updating DNS, and validating connectivity after deployment.

We are Kforces client, and we are seeking a Remote Data Center Technician based near the Atlanta, GA area, within approximately 45 minutes of the designated data center location, due to the need for emergency response and escorting third-party personnel at local data center sites as needed.
