Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years in Operating Room License: Active Virginia or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Must have active Virginia or Compact License in hand at submission. BLS certification required. Must have 2 years of experience in a Level II Trauma center. Experience with Trauma, neuro, ortho spine, general surgery, and robotics preferred. EPIC experience required. Description: The role involves providing nursing care in the operating room. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM. There is no requirement to sign up for call. The start date will be dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule. The flu vaccine is required during flu season. Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine must comply with guidelines. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons. The facility is smoke/nicotine free. Travelers are prohibited from submitting multiple job IDs simultaneously. RTO should be kept to a minimum, preferably no requests for a calendar week off during the assignment. Expect to work some holidays as needed. EPIC experience must be documented. Travelers must submit proof of active Virginia license with their application.
