The Schwab Franchise Branch in Missoula, MT is looking for a Non-Registered/Licensed Independent Branch Client Service Specialist with a passion for serving clients.

Independent Branch Client Service Specialists are not employees of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.; they are employees of the Independent Branch (Schwab franchise) and are Associated Persons of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

This is an entry level position for someone wanting to get into the financial services industry or someone early in their financial services career. This position will provide a clear career path for those that may want to become a financial consultant. The Client Service Specialist role is not a sales position where you will need sell to your friends and family. The office is a close group which started in July of 2021 and has been an incredibly fast-growing branch. There are times in the day when the branch is very busy with call-ins and walk-ins, and this position will require an individual who is comfortable in that environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Building strong, personal relationships with clients is a key component to the Branches’ success. Client Service Specialists greet clients and prospects with warm enthusiasm when they call or visit the branch, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated.
• Deliver outstanding service and provide all clients with an exceptional experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Director of First Impressions. You will be located at the front desk where you will greet clients and prospects when they arrive. You will offer clients a beverage and ensure they are comfortable while waiting for their meeting to begin.
• Help triage walk-ins and call-ins with the appropriate parties
• Deposit checks
• Fill out and submit client paperwork
• Follow-up on client paperwork when applicable
• Help unexpected walk-ins’ with setting up new accounts and navigating the Schwab platform when applicable
• Document client interactions in Salesforce
• Schedule client meetings with financial consultants when applicable
• Notarize Documents
• Maintain branch to Schwab brand standards
• Help send out gifts and paperwork to clients when necessary
• Help with planning and preparing for client events
• Walk clients through the Schwab online platform
• Assist clients with the Schwab mobile application

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Pass Schwab’s required background screening including (credit check, FBI check, and drug screening)
• 4-year college degree preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Passion for helping others

• The flexibility to take on any task that needs to be done
• Demonstrated experience handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to manage multiple client situations, needs, and inquiries simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail
• Able to develop and maintain good cross-enterprise working relationships
• Great with technology
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite

HOURS & COMPENSATION

• Full-time position
• The hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Occasional evenings and weekends to help with client events
• Salary is $55,000
• Qualitative Bonus Potential: up to $5,000 paid quarterly
• 3% 401(k) Retirement Plan Contribution
• Paid Sick and Vacation time

• Employer contribution of $1,000 into an HSA for those with a qualified high deductible plan
• 4-week paid Sabbatical after 5 years of service.
