L'Appartement 4f is a French bakery. We specialize in croissants, sourdough bread, and baguettes. This position is for our commissary kitchen is South Williamsburg . 
Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Mixing, scaling, and shaping croissants
• Mixing and scaling cookie dough and almond paste
• Maintain a clean and safe space in accordance with operations and sanitation guidelines.
• Willing to learn and adapt to work in a team environment
• Foster a positive work environment

Skills & Requirements:

• 1-2 years professional experience in pastries or related fields, required.
• Formal education in pastry, preferred but not required.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Ability to work holidays.
• Ability to work on your feet for a full shift and lift 50+ lbs during the shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the US.

Shifts Needed:

• The position opening is full time (40 hours per week). Shifts are scheduled 7:30am-4:00pm Tuesday-Saturday

What started as a homegrown project is now a beloved neighborhood boulangerie offering some of NYC’s most sought-after pastries. In the evenings, our space becomes L’Apéro—a cozy French wine bar serving natural and biodynamic wines alongside breads, cheeses, and classic French dishes.
