Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java development, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-performance enterprise applications while collaborating with global teams in an Agile environment.
• This role requires hands-on experience with database technologies, messaging platforms, caching solutions, and Linux-based systems, along with a passion for delivering reliable and innovative software solutions.

Day to Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications using Core Java and modern software engineering practices.
• Develop scalable microservices and distributed systems to support business-critical applications.
• Work with relational databases and optimize queries, data models, and database performance.
• Design and implement integration solutions using messaging and middleware technologies such as Kafka and MQ.
• Develop and maintain distributed caching solutions using Redis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Support application deployment, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in Linux-based environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and production support.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with global teams to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Core Java programming.
• Experience working with functional programming languages and functional programming concepts.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed system design principles.
• Experience with distributed caching technologies, preferably Redis.
• Strong experience working with relational databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, or Sybase IQ.
• Experience with middleware and messaging platforms such as Kafka and MQ.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment.

Travel: No Travel Required.

Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile teams utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) platforms.
• Experience with enterprise schedulers such as Cron, AutoSys, or Control-M.
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-ready applications using Docker containers.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Advanced experience with Redis administration and optimization.
• Exposure to Scala Functional Programming (or willingness to learn).
• Experience with automation and scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or related ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
