Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Riverview, FL, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance across TLS’s construction projects and service lines. This role leads operational planning, directs department leaders, and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements and company standards. The Vice President Operations manages financial performance, including P&L oversight, resource allocation, and cost controls, while driving process improvement and operational efficiency. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, resolving operational issues, supporting customer relationships with federal partners, and aligning operations with strategic objectives. The role collaborates closely with executive leadership to support business growth, maintain compliance, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Strong Operations Management experience, including leading multi-site or complex service operations and driving process improvements in construction. Demonstrated P&L Management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance analysis. Proficiency in Strategic Planning, including setting operational goals, developing roadmaps, and aligning resources with long-term business objectives. Solid Project Management capabilities, with experience overseeing multiple projects, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams. Customer Service focus, with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government or enterprise clients and address service issues effectively. Relevant leadership experience in operations or executive roles, preferably within federal contracting, logistics, facilities, or related service industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean/Six Sigma) are beneficial.
