Job Description

Title: RRT – Respiratory Therapy

Schedule:

• 12-hour Night shift
• Weekends as needed
• Schedule flexibility is a must

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT will not be accepted
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
• All specialties worked must be well documented on each individual employment entry
• Explanation required for employment gaps over 90 days

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care protocols and procedures
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Compliance / Notes:

• Background checks and drug screens may be required
• Reliable transportation is necessary; public transportation is not accessible in the area
• No block schedules for any reason
• Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
