Vice President- Operations

Vice President – Operations (Location: Rancho Cordova, CA, Regional Office – Cust. installations). Salary: $145,000–$160,000 plus 25% bonus and auto allowance. Strategy Development, Implementation & Execution Formulate and advance regional operational strategies that align with corporate growth goals. Demonstrate high agility by swiftly translating executive directives and leading critical operational pivots. Translate long‑term corporate vision into actionable regional initiatives, establishing clear KPIs and milestones. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management Lead by example to embed a proactive safety culture across all facilities. Ensure adherence to PPE standards, health policies, and regional safety metrics. Partner with safety teams to audit and maintain compliance frameworks aligning with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, state regulations, and corporate SOPs. Continuous refinement of SOPs to optimize compliance, minimize risk, and adapt to evolving industry standards. Executive Leadership & Talent Development Cultivate a high‑performance culture of collaboration and employee engagement. Partner with HR on workforce planning, targeted hiring, comprehensive training initiatives, and succession planning via coaching and mentorship. Performance Execution & Financial Acumen Manage CapEx budgets and capital investments to maximize ROI. Drive lean performance to reduce waste and control costs across facilities, eliminating bottlenecks to maximize uptime. Supply Chain, Quality & Customer Experience Lead all facets of the gas supply chain, coordinating distribution to plants and end‑users. Enforce quality and delivery standards to ensure order accuracy, product quality, and customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in bulk and packaged gas industry or equivalent education/experience in a chemical, gas, or related production environment. Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software system. Intermediate proficiency with Google Workspace. Experience managing capital expenditure budgets and coordinating capital allocations. Experience navigating union agreements, labor relations, and employment matters. Strong familiarity with federal/state regulations, OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, truck and trailer loading limits, hazardous material classifications, DOT driver qualifications, vehicle purchasing and maintenance, accident reporting, and overall safety and compliance. Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
