Job Title: Forklift Operator Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour (depending on experience) Schedule: Two Shifts Available: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturday work) 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturday work) We are seeking an experienced Heavy Forklift Operator for a full-time position. The ideal candidate must have prior forklift operating experience in construction, steel, or other challenging environments. Responsibilities Safely operate a heavy forklift to move and transport materials in a construction, industrial, or metal‑handling environment. Load and unload heavy materials from trucks, storage areas, or workstations. Handle large, heavy, or irregularly shaped loads safely and efficiently. Ensure proper stacking, securing, and transportation of materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents. Requirements Previous experience operating a heavy forklift in construction, steel, or industrial settings. Ability to maneuver large and heavy loads with precision. Familiarity with handling metal materials, steel beams, or oversized equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of workplace safety and OSHA regulations. Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one if required).
