Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. The start date is 09/21/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital ER setting. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week on a 3x12 night schedule (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with a weekly pay range of $2,179 to $2,285. This position is for a travel assignment requiring an active NH RN license or eligibility, BLS certification, and ACLS certification; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,179 - $2,285 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 pm–7:00 am) Start date: 09/21/2026 Setting: Hospital ER travel assignment in Nashua, NH Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on admission using interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic tests. Develop and implement a written care plan under physician direction; administer medications, monitor responses, manage IV therapy, and adjust care as needed. Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ER, including triage, continuous monitoring, rapid assessment, and timely escalation of changes in patient condition. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record; communicate clearly with the care team while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care, stabilize patients, and support discharge planning and patient education. Uphold patient safety and infection control standards, participate in quality improvement activities, and ensure appropriate escalation of clinical concerns. Requirements Active New Hampshire RN license or eligibility to obtain NH RN license. BLS certification required; ACLS certification required. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Clinical experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting and adapt to a 7:00 pm–7:00 am night shift; travel assignment eligibility.
