Assistant Store Manager Location: East Rutherford, NJ – Full‑time, Exempt. Salary: $60,000.00 to $67,000.00 annually. About the Role The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in driving store strategy and achieving sales performance by understanding client desires and creating a hand‑crafted 360° experience for clients. Responsibilities Lead and nurture the team, fostering growth, listening with respect and inclusion. Act as a liaison on the sales floor to drive and achieve individual and team objectives, mentoring the team with insights, reflections, and experiences. Take ownership of the client experience, acting to enhance performance and contribute to business action plans for product categories and client tiers. Provide excellent and specialized customer service, developing meaningful and loyal client relationships through CRM initiatives. Act first on employee and client relationships, with in‑depth knowledge of luxury client needs. Understand and achieve company KPIs, identifying strategies to enhance performance standards. Innovate new ways of creating value and magic for clients. Qualifications Proficient English language skills; knowledge of a second language preferred. Previous retail sales experience preferred, luxury retail experience a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents. Effective communication with customers, peers, and management; proper telephone etiquette. Ability to multi‑task while attending to customers and adapting to business needs. Team player with initiative and ability to work independently of direct supervision. Physical Requirements Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for extended periods. Occasional stooping, sitting, kneeling, crouching, climbing step stools. Occasional lifting of at least 20 lbs. Schedule Regular and reliable attendance on a 5‑day per week schedule. Full‑time hours (37.5 hours). Flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends based on store needs.
