This position is designed for an individual who wants to grow into more responsibilities while gaining experience in all aspects of dairy management. Responsibilities include supervising employees, ensuring protocols are followed, assisting with herd health, reproduction, calf and heifer management, fresh and hospital cows, parlor operations, and overall daily dairy activities. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate records, assist with inventory and purchasing, and work closely with management to ensure the operation runs efficiently. This is a hands on leadership position where the Assistant Manager will regularly work alongside employees while learning all aspects of the business. Responsibilities will vary based on the individual's strengths and interests, with opportunities to gain experience in employee management, problem solving, equipment troubleshooting, and operational decision making.
