Logistics Coordinator - Weekend Required

Carrier Operations Specialist (Weekend Schedule Required) Pay: Starting at $15.50 per hour + Performance Incentives Shift: 5 days a week, no overtime, weekends are required. What You'll Do * Handle inbound calls and emails from carriers regarding available freight * Make outbound calls to carriers to secure truck capacity and ensure loads are covered. Outbound calls are only neccessary on weekends. * Confirm carrier availability, equipment type, and shipment details * Negotiate rates within approved guidelines * Enter and update shipment information accurately in our transportation management system * Monitor shipments and follow up on open loads * Escalate service issues and exceptions when necessary * Work closely with internal teams to ensure freight moves on time * Represent the company professionally when communicating with carrier partners Who Succeeds Here? * Enjoys talking on the phone throughout the day * Works well in a fast-paced environment * Is organized and detail-oriented * Can multitask and adapt to changing priorities * Is dependable and maintains strong attendance * Enjoys problem-solving and finding solutions This Role May Not Be a Fit If * You are looking for a remote or hybrid position * You prefer minimal phone interaction * You are unavailable to work weekends * You are seeking a commission-based sales role Qualifications * Strong communication and customer service skills * Basic computer proficiency * Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly * Strong attention to detail * Reliable attendance and punctuality Previous logistics, transportation, call center, customer service, or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
