Division Director, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center Cohen Children’s Medical Center , a leading children's hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Pediatric Critical Care Physician to lead our exceptional Critical Care Division. About The Opportunity As Division Director, you will lead a thriving division of attending physicians, fellows, advanced practice providers (APPs), and a dedicated support team. You will oversee a robust and comprehensive program centered around our state-of-the-art Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and associated critical care services. Academic appointment at Zucker School of Medicine, Hofstra/Northwell. Highlights

• Nationally Recognized Excellence: Cohen Children’s Medical Center is ranked #1 in New York State and among the nation's top children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report for 15 consecutive years, with numerous specialties recognized.
• Comprehensive Services: Our 25-bed PICU is equipped with advanced capabilities including ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), advanced ventilation strategies, neurocritical care, and transport services. We serve as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. Our additional 12-bed step-down unit allows continuing care and/or lower acuity critical care managed by the critical care team.
• Established Fellowship Program: Mentor and train the next generation of pediatric critical care physicians drawn from leading residency programs nationally.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Active participation with our Trauma Team, Neuroscience Institute, Pediatric Heart Center, Nephrology, Oncology, General and Subspecialty Surgical Services, and Transplant Services to provide comprehensive critical care.
• Cardiac Critical Care: Collaborate with our dedicated cardiac critical care team to provide expert care to children with complex congenital heart disease and/or heart failure, including those who need ventricular support or transplantation.
• Level 4 NICU: Collaborate with our Level 4 NICU to provide expert critical care to our most vulnerable neonates.
• Thriving Transplant Program: Collaborate with our renowned renal, cardiac, and bone marrow transplant teams for critical care support.
• Exceptional Resources: Access to cutting-edge technology and a supportive administrative team.

Ideal Candidate

• Board-certified Pediatric Critical Care Physician with a proven track record of leadership, clinical excellence, and academic achievement.
• Eligible for licensure in New York.
• Passionate about providing family-centered care.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
