Full-Time Financial Specialist (NH-0501-03) – Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA VoP (Value of Position): 75 Recruitment, Retention, and Relocation incentives may be available. In this role, you will serve as a Financial Specialist performing a variety of duties including budget formulation, preparing information for budget presentations, providing financial advice on complex issues, and conducting financial and cost reviews to determine resource requirements. Qualifications/Requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. This is a drug testing designated position. This position is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) and requires the ability to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements. APDP Business-Financial Management (BUS-FM) Practitioner Certification is required. This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station. Key Job-Related Skills Budget Formulation: Perform budget formulation work involving the preparation of detailed analysis and estimates for funding needs. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial and cost reviews to determine resource requirements based on actual and forecast workload. Advisory Services: Provide financial advice on complex financial issues and the assessment of implementing decisions. Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and assemble information in support of formal presentations of budgets and requests. U.S. citizenship required. AFCS is Equal Opportunity Employer.
