Doctor of Medicine | Internal Medicine - General/Other Location: Fort Polk, LA Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments. Conduct interview-based examinations supplemented by physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions, including proficiency in METs testing. Complete medical reports and administrative documentation, including addendums and medical opinions, following the clinical encounter. Review diagnostic results to inform clinical findings. Navigate and utilize required digital portals and diagnosis-specific software for report submission. Qualifications & Credentialing Certification: AANP certification is required. Physicians must have an active and unrestricted full medical license. Clinical Proficiency: Must be proficient in METs testing and the evaluation/diagnosis of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Training: Applicants must be willing to complete and become DMA certified through specific training protocols (compensation for the training is provided upon first exam completion). Technology: Providers must own a laptop for administrative work (must be PC-compatible; Mac/Apple products are not supported). Documentation: Submission of an updated CV with the current home address and a Self-Query NPDB pulled within the last 30 days is required. Providers who attended medical school outside of the U.S. must provide an ECFMG certificate. Office Requirements: For providers utilizing their own office, the facility must meet specific accessibility and equipment standards, including wheelchair accessibility, appropriate signage, and specific medical supplies. Photos of the office space (parking, exam rooms, restroom, etc.) are required at the time of submission. What We Offer Daily Rate: $1,600 flat rate for shifts of 5 hours or longer (inclusive of all exams, reports, and travel). Half-day Rate: $800 flat rate for shifts of 4 hours or less (inclusive of all exams, reports, and travel).
