Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | 13-Week Assignment | Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No weekends, no on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances as prescribed by the physician
• Operate specialized X-ray equipment including TrueBeam and Aria/Varian systems
• Administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy while providing quality patient care appropriate to patient diagnosis, age group, and developmental needs
• Perform specialized procedures including SBRT, SRS, IGRT, and IMRT
• Maintain accurate treatment records and prepare operational reports as required
• Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active New Mexico Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) and Registered Radiation Therapist (RRT) licensure required upon hire
• Demonstrated experience with TrueBeam machine and Aria/Varian treatment planning systems
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two to five years of clinical radiation therapy experience
• Experience with IMRT techniques
• LDR/HDR brachytherapy experience
