Business Litigation Attorney (Hybrid) - Los Angeles
Located in Brentwood, a stone's throw from Santa Monica, we are a boutique law firm specializing in business litigation. We are a dynamic firm who enjoys flexibility in the office and work to create a life/work balance for both our staff and associates. We focus on complex law practice areas and our attorneys are experienced litigators from some of the world's largest law firms. We have just under 20 lawyers and believe that successful client relationships are driven by our extensive experience, and our unmatched resolve to achieve successful results. We are looking to add a talented Litigation Attorney with at least 4-9 years' work experience to our team! Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) (NY also available)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high quality legal work independently.
- Take and defend key depositions.
- Law and motion practice, including hearings.
- Case management, including hearings.
- Consult with Partners to set case strategy and goals. Implement and execute on plan.
- Business Development: outreach to potential referring counsel, potential clients.
- Generation of firm marketing and advertising materials.
- Direct and handle press inquiries as appropriate.
Job Requirements:
- 4-9+ years Business Litigation Experience
- Good standing with State Bar of CA (or State Bar of NY)
- Big Firm experience (preferred)
- Top 20 Law School (preferred)
- Experience in trial (if not 1st chair, 2nd)
- Self-starter and team player
- Top Notch Writing Skills
- Drive to Run your own Docket of Cases.
- Drafting complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery.
- Take & defend depositions, argue motions in court, handle mediation, examine
