About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: MUST have 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience. MUST have perm Ohio license or compact state license. MUST have American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation. Description: This role involves providing nursing care in a Med/Surg Tele unit. The nurse may need to float to other units to care for the same patient population. The night shift is scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably at one location. Travel experience is acceptable. Active required certifications must be maintained without any pending items. Two references from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for are required. Candidates must comply with all background check requirements. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, which are temporary. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within the last 12 months. Candidates may extend assignments for a period of 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break.
