About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour / Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty required, with 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience preferred. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: - Must be willing to work every other holiday. - Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation. Description: The role involves providing nursing care in a Med/Surg Tele unit. Nurses may float to other units to care for similar patient populations as needed. Shifts will rotate between nights and days, with potential variability. Recent experience in the specialty is required for consideration. Candidates must have active, current certifications with no pending issues. References from managers, supervisors, or directors in the specialty are required. Travelers may be subject to a nicotine-free requirement, excluding certain exemptions. Background checks will be conducted, and any open cases will disqualify candidates. Candidates selected will undergo pre-start modules and assessments as part of their preparation. Modules may vary based on specialty, and completion is required prior to starting. Travelers must comply with protocol and may have the opportunity to extend their contracts based on client needs.
