HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Program Manager for a wide range of programs in the Civilian Development (CD) portfolio that focus on Department of the Air Force (DAF)-wide civilian employee leadership development and resource management. - Serves as Program Manager for the Civilian Development (CD) Office.
- Carries out various assignments affecting the annual CD nomination call and selection board.
- Conducts advisory services for a wide range of stakeholders such as career field functional representatives, senior leadership, AF/A1, SF/S1, MAJCOM staff, career program registrants and applicants, and eligible employees.
- Conducts special projects, initiatives, and assignments.
- Must complete initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s)
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Males must be registered for Selective Service, see
- A security clearance may be required
- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:
- This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
- Position may be subject to random drug testing
- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours.
- Disclosure of Political Appointments
- All federal employees are required to have direct deposit.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
