NCDOT - Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Job Summary (Bullet/List Format):

- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and related components).
- Build scalable applications, automated workflows, and integrated solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency for NCDOT users and customers.
- Develop Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), and design Power Automate flows.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Implement connections with external APIs, databases, and third-party systems using custom connectors and advanced automation.
- Apply knowledge of Power Platform governance, security best practices, environment management, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration or workflow issues.
- Deploy solutions and work within Power Platform environments, leveraging Azure DevOps as needed.
- Support ongoing application maintenance, including issue troubleshooting and routine updates.
- Complete assigned development and configuration tasks according to project requirements and timelines.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and technical findings to management and team members.
- Collaborate with internal staff and participate in requirement gathering meetings with customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of changes, fixes, and enhancements.
- On-site attendance required for equipment pickup and as needed for business requirements.
- Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as PL-900.
- Required Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on Power Platform development and deployment
- 6+ years of Power Automate workflow development/integration
- 4+ years of Power Apps experience
- 3+ years with SharePoint
- 5+ years with Microsoft 365
