Dietary Services Aide

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Dietary Services Aide to support patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll help patients regain independence by preparing, assembling, and delivering nutritious meals that meet physician-ordered diets. Responsibilities include following therapeutic and specialty diet guidelines, accurately plating and delivering trays, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and infection control. You will clean and stock the kitchen, operate dishwashing and foodservice equipment, and follow safety procedures and regulatory standards. Working closely with dietitians, nurses, and other team members, you’ll communicate patient needs, respect preferences, and support a patient-centered, mission-driven environment that values teamwork, learning, and quality care.
