Our client in Chesterfield MI has an immediate need for skilled cooks with a solid work history to join our foodservice operations team. The location is a long-term care/senior living veterans home. They provide award-winning and highly successful solutions within the areas of food and nutrition services, environmental services, institutional laundry services, and facility maintenance. Shift 1st 5:30am to 2:00pm or 11:00am -7:30pm

What will you be doing?
- Working under the supervision of the culinary manager and the dietary manager
- Assists the manager with ordering and receiving as necessary
- Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner in a caf setting
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and assisting dietary aides as necessary
What do you bring?
- Positive, can-do attitude
- High school diploma GED
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience
