Music Publishing License Coordinator

Founded in 2010 by music industry veteran John Barker, ClearBox Rights is positioned to offer game-changing alternatives in the areas of managing copyright administration as well as other Intellectual Properties. ClearBox currently represents hundreds of publishing clients with tens of thousands of songs in all genres, including many of today’s and decades past most popular songs. ClearBox Rights is one of the largest independent IP administration companies in the U.S. Position: Music Publishing License Coordinator (option to begin as part-time) Job Functions Work with commercial and non-commercial licenses for all rights, including synchronization, mechanical, and print, including negotiations, execution, and maintaining records for all ClearBox publishing clients. Requirements Helpful to have a good understanding of publishing licensing in the areas of mechanical, synchronization and other right types. Experience in this area a plus. Personable on phone and in person. Good organization skills a must. Proficient with Excel and MS Word. MS Access skills helpful. Basic understanding of music publishing, copyright, and related legal issues important. Strong client relation and presentation skills. Experience in media industry and social media is a plus.
